  Habitat Mostly coastal grassland and cliffs, but also found in moorland, upland grassland and marshland. Foodplant Hogweed and wild angelica. Lifestage data Overwinters as a female adult. Eggs are laid on the foodplant in spring. Larva April-early August. Pupates just below the soil. |
